Data Scientist – Ads & E-commerce Personalisation
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join a high-growth team focused on Shops Ads personalisation. This role is central to optimising ad ranking, buyer journeys, and product recommendations within a large-scale e-commerce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse buyer behaviour, experimental results, and data trends to drive ad personalisation and optimisation.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams to align data insights with strategic goals.
- Conduct A/B testing, experimental deep dives, and opportunity sizing analysis to improve ad performance.
- Develop data-driven recommendations to enhance user experience and revenue growth.
- Summarise insights for senior stakeholders and contribute to long-term product strategy.
What You’ll Need:
- 8+ years in Data Science, with a background in ads, e-commerce, or personalisation - essential; without this you cannot be considered
- Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and A/B testing.
- Experience working with ad ranking, product recommendations, or user behaviour analysis.
- Proven ability to communicate insights and influence product strategy.
- Background in fast-scaling environments (Big Tech, high-growth startups, or similar).
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Machine Learning and personalisation algorithms.
- Dashboarding and data visualisation for leadership reporting.
