Accountant - General Ledger / Staff Accountant

Hybrid 50% Office, 50% Home – Office is based in Citywest.

Salary Range - Negotiable

Are you a skilled accounting professional, fluent in Romanian and ready to take on an exciting role in a dynamic and growing global company?

We’re looking for an Accountant to join our client’s Accounting Centre of Excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and participate in month-end close activities.
  • Lead accounting transformation projects to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage statutory reporting, VAT, and compliance returns for European entities.
  • Prepare financial statements and manage external audits.
  • Support various ad-hoc projects and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Requirements:

  • Part/qualified accountant or fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA)
  • Fluent in Romanian (essential) and English.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, with experience in SAP, Power BI, or Tableau preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
