Salary: £90k to £95k basic (PAYE, paid weekly, WITHIN IR35)
Location: Remote - within the London / South East UK regions

Role: We're seeking an experienced Android Software Engineer to join a well respected and busy team, to contribute to migrating the Android codebase to the latest frameworks and secure design patterns.

About the team: The high-performing team manages and scales one of the largest codebases in the world. As a member of the development team, you'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced engineers and contribute to the growth of the company’s mobile applications.
 
As a Software Engineer, you will:
  • Design, implement, maintain, and test software applications and systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and scalability
  • Apply computer science and mathematical principles to solve complex problems
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Qualifications
  • You’ll have a minimum of at least 5+ years in relevant Android Development background; with solid development skills rather than UI based
  • You’ll have solid, proven Java & Kotlin experience
  • You’ll be experienced with large scale coding; pushing out high quality code, well-tested code
  • You’ll also have experience with important, consumer focussed performance, reliability, efficiency & quality (PREQ)

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.
