Payroll Projects Coordinator – Global Organisation

Location: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)
Contract: 11-month contract
Salary: €95,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Projects Coordinator to join a global payroll team and drive key payroll initiatives, including employee leave enhancements, benefits changes, and compliance-driven process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Payroll Projects – Oversee international payroll initiatives, including HR policy updates, new legal entity payroll setups, and regulatory changes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work with HR, Tax, Benefits, Accounting, Legal, and external auditors to ensure payroll compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement – Identify and implement process, system, and data management enhancements aligned with global payroll strategy.
  • Ensure Business Readiness – Support payroll teams in preparing for new processes and system enhancements before go-live.
  • Drive Transformation – Communicate priorities, align stakeholders, and ensure seamless execution of payroll transformation projects.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Payroll Expertise – 8+ years of experience in payroll, HR, or finance operations within a global organisation.
  • Project Management Skills – Strong experience leading payroll-related projects and implementing process improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Experience – Proven ability to collaborate with HR, Finance, and external partners to drive successful outcomes.
  • Strategic & Operational Mindset – Ability to think big picture while managing detailed project execution.
  • Excellent Communication – Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and deliver clear, concise project updates.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Workday, ADP, or other global payroll platforms
  • Payroll certifications such as CIPP, CPP, or FPC
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles
